Additional methods for submitting reports or edit requests.

There's a few issues that I come across frequently that I don't report because it's too cumbersome to send an email and doesn't affect overall usability too much. But the list of little annoyances that should be reported is beginning to grow longer. I know we can report prices going to back a certain amount of time, but prices aren't the only thing needing reporting. It would be great to have a way to report a card for review that has issues I don't have edit rights to. (And maybe these are exclusive to me and the cards I collect and this could all be fixed if I had additional editing capabilities. But I'm definitely not asking for that.)

Feel free to pin the list if others have suggestions that I miss.

Here's a list of things that we can't report.

  • Duplicate card listings with details that shouldn't be included.
  • Box prices (especially those with incredibly inaccurate prices, also shouldn't be included in the set count):
  • Bad or incorrect image for cards
  • Graded cards listed as raw
  • Parallels listed as base
  • Wrong year for cards (primarily a basketball issue.)
  • Wrong sport
  • Cards that are autographed (could be listed as raw or could have a duplicate listing)

I'm sure there's more, so I'll add them as I think of them.

This was my idea, but I wasn't logged in. Maybe an admin can update the thread creator.

Here's an example of an orphan card that is just too tedious to email and not impactful enough to worry about.

1987 Fleer Jose Canseco listed under 1987-88 Fleer basketball.

Thank you.

We are going through some sets to clean them up now.  Working on Baseball popular sets, then Football, and Basketball too.

I will clean these other reports up and delete/move cards as needed.  Thank you again

We do have some more streamlined ways for some users to flag incorrect listings.  Please let me know your user name on the site and I can look into those for your account.

it's the same as here, mister_insert.

fwiw, I try to add notes and comments in the description fields and hope that someone sees them. I know everyone has jobs, so being able to manage 99% of the cards ever made is pretty impressive. if there's anything i can do to help out, just let me know. I nerd out about website and online tools since I've been a product manager for about 15 years now. Please don't hate me for that.

Here's another case that I've seen a few times, and would be nice to be able to report. It's hard to search for these examples, so I have to list them as I come across them. I think COMC has the same thing occur, so maybe it's the way the checklists are made.

Update to the wax boxes being included in the base sets. An EMPTY box of 1986-87 was sold last week for $153 and is included in the "base set" of cards. lol
