If I'm adding random cards to a set and I have doubles, I'd just like to see a simple way to "add another" in the Quick-Add section. It takes multiple steps to add extra cards right now and I always wind up having to go back and click on the collection and then scroll to the place I was at which adds a lot of time. Especially if I'm just going through and adding cards quickly.
This would most definitely be a great tool to implement. It would be nice to take it even a step further and have an option to add an entire set at once as duplicates. For example if someone has 3 entire sets of the same exact product (say 1999 upper deck baseball) well as it is now you have to enter every card in that set one single card at a time. Sometimes when you refresh the page or go back to the list it resets to card #1 for some reason and then you have to scroll through the entire list and wait for data to load continuously. Please consider this implementation as it would be a great help for product additions and a major time saver.
To hold your place in the page, you should ctrl+click on the link on a PC or long click and choose "Open in new tab" on mobile. That will then let you add the item. Then you close the tab and you are still on the same place on the page.
It would be nice as well if the Price Paid would automatically multiple by the Qty entered. You may need to manually adjust if the purchase prices were different, but it would save time when they were the same.
The problem with doing this is it assumes the user paid the same amount for both cards. It is very possible that someone bought one card for $5 and another copy for $10. For circumstances like this, it is best for the user to change the quantity and cost in the collection view. If you search for the item on the site and then click the orange button in that row, you can edit the full details of the item like quantity and cost.
I too would like to see a quick add for adding an additional copy. I have been adding cards most every day and have multiple ALMOST complete (previous owner picked the sets of the highest value cards) sets of various cards, it would be nice to add a card on the fly as I can with the quick add button just going down the list as I find the card. The problem I have with adding multiples in the with details is with cases of the same cards, and entire moving boxes of loose 87 topps for example, they aren't all in order so I'm just working through a few at a time from the sets as I pull, sleeve and add them to the system.
Thanks for the feedback. So instead of just "add one click" or "add with details" you want an "add another" option too if the item is already in your account?
Do you not want to use the quantity field in your collection?
You also might try CTRL+Click (or on a mobile, long click and open in a new tab). That will leave you in the same spot in your collectoin/browsing so you don't have to browse back to where you were before.
how about having your actual number of cards in your collection of a specific card on the same page as your collection or under the set series. by adding an arrow up & down to add or take away from your collection on the same line of that card. then were not leaving the page and losing our spot when the page refreshes and we have to scroll down to where we were at. thank you for your hard work and time to do this for everyone.
