Missing cards in so-called "completed sets"

Hello. I just wanted to point out that it seems many sets on this site are missing cards. I have tried many times to add the missing cards and pics, but most of the time, it says "this set is already complete". I have searched every search point for these cards (set, name, number, subset type) with no results.

I would have to go back through my collection to find all of these missing cards I've found, but at this moment, I can point out 2 examples in the 1985 Topps baseball set. #'s 133 and 143 are both missing. 133 is called "Father * Son" Ossie and Ozzie Virgil. 143 is called "Father * Son" Ray and Bob Boone.

Please let me know if you need pics of these cards. It would be helpful to allow us to submit corrections for administration to consider.

Aside from that, I love this site. It is very helpful in terms of keeping inventory. I assume I will become a paying subscriber after I get my massive collection inventoried.

We have both of those cards.  That is why we lock sets as complete.

The reason you couldn't find them was because you had variants excluded and someone had entered those cards with a variant naming format.  I have fixed that now so those will be considered base cards.

If you ever see a completed set and some card is missing, make sure you include variants and then filter by card number on the set page.  That is the best way to confirm that a card is in the database for a particular set.
