Batch update refractors (or other parallels) to mark them as "variants"?
I'm noticing this more frequently, and it might be just because of the cards I'm searching, but there seem to be more random cards in sets along with parallels, inserts, and duplicates added to the base sets. I try to report cards and then add notes to why I reported the card so admins can see why something was reported, hopefully this helps.
I have a few questions that are mostly just because I'm nerdy and curious how the site was designed/structured:
- How did so many duplicates of cards get added to existing base sets that are really old? Was this just an accidental approval when someone submitted a missing card report? 1992-93 Upper Deck basketball is a good example. It has multiple entries for the same base card and also includes a complete insert set in the base checklist.
- Is there a way to batch update parallels such as refractors that are not marked as variants? This is really common with cards like 1998 Bowman's Best basketball. When the refractors are not marked as variants, a lot of the actual refractors are missing. Maybe the whole set needs a checklist update? That might even be easier, idk.
- Is there any way to add a report button to an individual card's page? The only other options are to post here or email staff. When there's issues like this Tony Battie card, or a card in the wrong set, it would be so much easier if I could just change it. Or maybe I could have a handful of basic edit privileges that get reviewed by admins, they have to review reports AND make the changes anyway. This might save a small amount of time since there wouldn't be too many. If there's an "super-contributor" option, I'd definitely volunteer to make minor edits.

ps: I just saw this post and thought I'd mention it's not me asking about updating data or errors. I'm familiar with your policies, I've been a subscriber for quite a while now. I really appreciate your site btw, thank you for your work.
