sererate the players name and card number when you export you collection
i would like to see if the players name can be separated from the card number before you export my collection. This way i could look up by player name or by card number.

I was just going to post something similar!
In addition to the names and numbers being separated, the default sort order is aggravating. The intuitive download sorting for most users is likely to be the current view when download .csv is selected, or the card number.
Right now, the download sort order is by "product name", which is a weird way of saying "player name". I know it's from the origins of video game pricing, but it needs to be updated.
I know it's a massive undertaking, but the backend db needs significant work. Using the old video game format doesn't work for cards. Not only is it not working for vintage card sorting (text to columns to split name and card number, delete "console name" and "id" columns, add sort or filters, delete bullshit boxes, packs, hand collated sets, in person autographs not part of sets, empty wax boxes, false variants like "star rookie" or "all-pro" when it's just a base card, etc.) it wreaks havoc when there are parallels to contend with.
