Variation description

I’ve just started adding to my collection and I’m finding some cards difficult to determine if the variation is listed or which one it is. The ability to have a description, especially if the picture is not clear due to lighting, would be helpful. This could be a feature added to the set’s listing by year link to include all variations for that specific set/ year with a table of descriptions.
